The Chiefs finished in a tie second in the Region VII-AAA standings
but took the #4 seed after tiebreakers and will face Region VI-AAA
Champion Crestwood on the road at 7 p.m. this Friday (Nov. 7).

Defeat St. James, Playoff Bound: The Chiefs scored an impressive
49-32 victory over St. James in a high school version of Monday
Night Football. With the win, NMB is in the playoffs and has a chance
to play for the Region VII-AAA title this Friday at Myrtle Beach.

In a Region VII-AAA matchup versus Lake City that will not count
towards the final results, the Chiefs lost to the Panthers on the
road 51-9. The Baldwin Construction Company Premier Performer award
went to Zack Crowl. NMB returns for the final home game of the year

Football Tops Lake City:
Lake City scored on its opening posession but the Chiefs defense
shut down the Panthers the rest of the way. NMB's LT Pratt scored
to cap a 60-yard drive and Shauna Stout's PAT sealed the victory.

Beats Carolina Forest in 9th Grade Football:
The Chiefs 9th grade squad defeated Carolina Forest 14-12 on AJ
Wilson's 60-yard TD run and 2-point conversion. Nick O'Brien scored
the Chiefs first touschdown on a 50-yard run off tackle.

Defense Leads the Way Past Georgetown:
The Chiefs got back to winning football on Monday in a 35-12 Region
VII-AAA win over Georgetown on Homecoming for NMB. The Chiefs outgained
Georgetown 370 to 207 in total offense and Tony Montgomery led a
NMB defense that forced three offensive turnovers by the Bulldogs.

Football Game Vs Georgetown Postponed:
Friday night's homecoming game (10/10) at NMB has been rescheduled
for Monday night due to inclement weather. The Radio broadcast will
begin at 6:30pm, with kickoff set for 7pm.

Runs Past Chiefs: In
the Region VII-AAA opener for both squads, Socastee ran for 495
yards and controlled the ball for over 33 minutes to score a 46-40

completed the non-Region VII-AAA portion of its schedule with an
impressive 37-14 victory on the road at Mullins. The Chiefs (4-1)
were led by an offense that posted 464 yards and a defense that
shut down the Auctioneers (2-2) after allowing 14 points early in

Blows Out Marion 51-31:
The
Chiefs jumped out to an early lead, lost it in the third quarter,
and then turned it on in the final quarter for the big win. Jermaine
Vereen and Dexter Green each intercepted passes in the final quarter
and returned them for touchdowns to help the Chiefs to their third

Chiefs Fall to Marion:
NMB
fell behind 28-0 at halftime and lost to Marion 35-6 in JV football
action. LT Pratt ran the second half kickoff back for a Chiefs'
touchdown and the defense played well in the second half, allowing
just the seven points.

Football Falls at Carolina Forest:
The
Chiefs gave up 14 first quarter points before shutting out Carolina
Forest the rest of the way. NMB's Timmy Bellamy threw a 65-yard
TD pass to Travis evans, but that was all that the Chiefs' offense
could put on the scoreboard as the Panthers scored a 14-6 win.

rolled to its second straight win with a 42-13 defeat of the Panthers.
